Principal Message
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. I grew up in northwest Iowa on an acreage north of Hull. After high school, I stayed close to home to complete my undergrad at Northwestern College in Orange City, majoring in Elementary Education with endorsements in Reading and Middle School. For two years after college, I served as a para-educator at Rock Valley Community Schools. I taught for seven years at Southeast Webster Grand/Southeast Valley Schools in Dayton, Boxholm, and Burnside. During my career, I taught 7th and 8th grade Literature and K-3 Title Math, 4-6th Title Reading, and 5th and 6th grade Reading and SS. In 2015, I received my masters from UNI and I became the Assistant Principal at Webster City Middle School in 2016. Our family moved to Webster City in 2017. I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year at Northeast Hamilton Elementary and am extremely excited for the years to come. My family consists of my husband, Dustin and our two children. Our daughter Alivia will be a 7th grader at WCMS this coming year, and our son, Easton, will be in third grade. We are an extremely active family. Our children are involved in a lot of activities including 4H, Community Theatre, and various athletics. We are also avid Iowa Hawkeye Fans!
